University-Enterprise Collaboration Fosters Exchange and Strengthens Sino-Congolese Friendship —— A Practical Teaching Activity by Faculty and Students from Uzima School, Likasi, at CNMC HUACHIN METAL

To deepen school-enterprise cooperation and promote cultural exchanges between China and Congo, on April 24, 2025, 16 teachers and students from the Complexe scolaire UZIMA, a comprehensive church school in Likasi, visited CNMHK HUACHIN METAL to participate in an industrial practical teaching activity themed "Entering Modern Smelting and Exploring the Mysteries of Industry".

Safety First, Field Visit. At the beginning of the activity, teachers and students received systematic safety disclosure training, and then visited the raw material department, the raw solution workshop, and the electrodeposition workshop under guidance. The neat and orderly production environment and advanced automation equipment left a deep impression on the teachers and students. The student representatives were amazed by the innovative atmosphere and technological strength of the enterprise.

Technology empowers, teaching interacts. The company arranged the team leader from Congo to serve as an instructor, providing on-site answers to technical questions related to smelting processes, ore crushing, solvent extraction, and other technical issues. Through case demonstrations, students gained an intuitive understanding of the entire process of hydrometallurgy. The enterprise expressed its willingness to contribute to the cultivation of more local technical talents for the region.
